The Classics: Rock 'n' Roll Icons
Before AutoTune and Health & Safety, Eighties cringe and Bieber fringes, there was Rock and Roll. Inspired by Blues, Swing, Jazz and Folk, Rock burst onto the scene in the Fifties with artists like Little Richard and Chuck Berry, before taking the world by storm with The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and more. Whether you're reliving your glory days or discovering the classics for the first time, our collection of Rock's icons is an unmatched repository of candid stills, studio shots, electric performances and intimate portraits.

Little Richard, 1985, Steve Rapport
Here we see Little Richard in his later years recording his album Lifetime Friend at the Ridge Farm Recording Studio in Surrey, England. A Londoner based in New Orleans, Steve Rapport made a name for himself photographing some of the most famous names in music during the Eighties and Nineties.

Beggars Banquet Cake Fight, 1968
The Stones partying at the Gore Hotel in Kensington to celebrate the release of their seventh album, Beggars Banquet. The last of their albums to feature Brian Jones, it returned to a bluesier, less psychedelic sound and incorporated elements from Latin, South Asian and African music.

Led Zeppelin Live, June 1977
The original gods of heavy metal, Led Zeppelin took Rock in a direction no one could've imagined. Captured here by Richard E. Aaron, a music photographer whose career spanned three decades, playing at Madison Square Garden.
