After releasing hits Sheer Heart Attack (1974) and A Night at the Opera (1975), featuring the monumental Bohemian Rhapsody, Queen truly ascended to rock royalty. Freddie's operatic range and flamboyant stage presence defined the band's unique sound and performance style. Whether belting out anthems like We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions or crooning on ballads like Love of My Life and Somebody to Love, his voice was unmistakable. His collaboration with David Bowie on Under Pressure (1981) remains one of the most iconic duets in rock history. Beyond Queen, his solo work including the album Mr. Bad Guy and the opera collaboration with Montserrat Caball on Barcelona, showcased his versatility and boundless talent. His live performances were legendary, particularly Queen's electrifying set at Live Aid in 1985, often hailed as one of the greatest live performances of all time. In 1991, he released Innuendo, an album that continued to push musical boundaries even as he battled illness.
