Stone Roses Prints

Surfing the wave of the 'Madchester' scene, The Stones Roses went from playing local warehouse raves to colossal stadiums in only a handful of years.

Fusing pop sentiment, shining riffs and minimal 80's dance beats, their sound was irresistible to the psychedelic generation. The band signed with Silverstone Records in 1988, spawning their eponymous debut album, which became a British phenomenon. They had a succession of U.K. hits; What the World Is Waiting For/Fool's Gold, Made of Stone, One Love, I Wanna Be Adored, Waterfall, and I Am the Resurrection. This critical acclaim paved the way for a flurry of similar bands, establishing a genre blending rock with the acid house dance culture of the 80s.
