How to Care for your Sonic Print

When installing your Sonic Editions print, we recommend placing it in a cool, dry environment — away from direct sunlight.

Avoid areas near fireplaces, kitchens, or heat sources, as these can affect the frame and compromise the longevity of the piece. Moisture-rich spaces, such as bathrooms, are best avoided to preserve both frame and print integrity.

Each framed piece arrives ready to hang, with pre-attached hardware for ease and stability. For larger works, we suggest secure wall fixtures suited to your surface — added support may be required.

Whether part of a gallery wall or standing alone, consider light, height, and negative space. The right placement brings the work into quiet focus — intentional, elevated, unmistakably yours.

A Simple Guide to Elevating Your Space

1. Choose the Right Location

Select a wall with stable light and temperature — away from direct sunlight, moisture, or heat sources. This preserves both the frame and the print over time.

2. Mark Your Placement

Hold the frame against the wall at your desired height. Lightly mark the top centre with a pencil to guide your hook.

3. Insert the Hook

Using a picture-hanging hook, gently tap the nail into place where marked. For larger pieces, two hooks may offer greater balance and support.

4. Hang & Adjust

Hang the frame on the hook and take a step back. Make subtle adjustments by hand to ensure the piece sits level and in harmony with its surroundings.

Prefer a no-nail approach?

Adhesive picture-hanging strips offer a clean, minimal alternative. Clean the wall, apply the strips to the back of the frame, press into place, and adjust gently.

Note: Not all surfaces or frame weights are suitable — always refer to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Note: Adhesive strips may not be suitable for all wall surfaces or frame weights.

Consider the weight of your frame and the manufacturer's recommendations before choosing this method.
