Andy Willsher

Andy Willsher, frame by frame, has been capturing music's unforgettable moments.

Capturing the essence of music through his lens, Andy Willsher's journey into photography began in Bedford, United Kingdom, during his school days. It was in the vibrant music scene of the late 1980s where his passion for pictures flourished, culminating in his pivotal decision to bring his camera to a local Goth concert, kickstarting his portfolio. Opting for hands-on experience over formal education, Andy financed his passion while working in London's West End. A pivotal moment came when he embarked on a tour with The Hollow Men, solidifying his commitment to photography as a career. Joining a local camera shop, he honed his craft by printing and submitting his work to music publications, catching the eye of NME, where he continues to thrive as a prominent music photographer. Showcasing many icons of music throughout history we invite you to explore this legendary gallery!
