Margaret Bourke White

Margaret Bourke-White was an American documentary photographer, best known as the first foreign photographer allowed to take pictures of the Soviet industry.

She was Life magazine's first female photographer and the first female war correspondent.Bourke-White was also a journalist, writer, and social activist. This gallery showcases some of her best work, making her a true pioneer.
