Tom Copi
Tom Copi is a Music photographer known for his iconic image of Iggy Pop crowd-surfing during the 1970 Cincinnati pop festival.
Stumbling upon his love for photography, Copi began as a writer/reporter for his college newspaper, "The Michigan Daily", later making the switch to photojournalist. Copi has gone on to photograph Jefferson Airplane, the Who, the Rolling Stones, blues musicians like BB King, Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf, and jazz musicians Duke Ellington, Miles Davis and Charles Mingus.
Copi is inspired by the excellence and innovation of the jazz musicians and the fun of picturesque artists at rock concerts and festivals.
We are very excited to be able to share part of his amazing work with you.
